Vault Process
Step-by-step process for Cognitive Neurons desktop vault overviews — from intake through inheritance record handoff for family crypto accounts.
A vault overview is a working afternoon, not a lecture. Below is the usual path from first message to papers in your folder.
- Enquiry You write with a rough count of wallets and exchanges, who will attend, and whether you prefer Skyline Tower or a home table. We reply within two business days with fee guidance and available dates.
- Intake sheet A short form lists venues, device locations (not secrets), and named access holders. You return it by email or bring a paper copy.
- Desk inventory Together we walk each disclosed account, confirm labels, and note custody type. Pauses are normal when memory is incomplete.
- Segmentation Holdings are grouped by purpose and risk to an executor: spend, long-hold, joint, business-linked. Mixed categories get untangled on paper.
- Inheritance draft We write the executor-facing overview and review it with you. Secrets stay off the open sheets; you decide where recovery material lives.
- Handoff You leave with printed pages and a PDF. Optional next steps: Inheritance Record Pack for counsel, or a later Record Refresh Visit.
Boundaries we keep
No custody of funds. No storage of your seed phrases on our systems. No pressure to buy hardware or open new accounts during the session.
